The Alderley Edge hotel is a 50 bed, boutique hotel which provides upmarket accommodation and dining. Overlooking one of Cheshire’s most desirable villages, the award winning hotel is renowned for its quality of service, comfortable accommodation and acclaimed cuisine. They cater for Weddings, Conferences and Events.

Before working alongside TLG Alderley Edge hotel were struggling with linen stock issues in their hotel and restaurant; often falling short.  The Linen Group’s digital automated laundry was able to provide Alderley Edge hotel with the exact linen required without additional orders or manually counting.

TLG’s Radio-frequency identification (RFID) uses electromagnetic fields to automatically identify and track tags attached to our linen. With the RFID chip, all stock is scanned, allowing for precise quantities when packing orders making sure the hotel has the correct amount of stock for every order.

Another occurring problem Alderley Edge hotel were seeing were issues with ‘old’ stock. The RFID chips can tell us where the linen has been sent to/received from, how long the customer has had the linen for and how many times it has been washed, allowing us to closely monitor the quality of all our stock allowing TLG to provide top quality linen to our valued customers such as Alderley Edge Hotel.
